How to Apply
The complete registration and application process should take approximately 20 minutes providing you have the necessary information to hand; an up-to-date CV and covering letter and details of your education/qualifications.
Registration
If you have not previously registered on jobs.sds.co.uk you will firstly need to create an account with a password and valid email address. Please retain a copy of these details for future reference. The system will not permit more than one account with the same email address.
To Apply for a Job
The first time you apply you will be asked to complete a series of pages providing your Personal Details, Education & Qualifications, Membership of Professional Bodies*, Personal Statement in support of your application*, Reference Details*, Diversity Monitoring Information and a Declaration. You will also need to attach a copy of your CV & cover letter and qualification certificate, if appropriate for the role.
Note: Pages denoted with an * are not mandatory and your application can be completed without these details at this stage.
For future applications you will have the opportunity to review/amend this information. You will also be asked to attach a new CV/cover letter with each application and you will have the opportunity to complete a personal statement in support of your application.
Submitting your Application
The system will confirm that your application has been completed and is ready to be submitted. If any errors or omissions are present you will be directed to correct these before your application can be submitted.
Once your application has been sumbitted you will be redirected to the Home Page where you can view a summary of all your applications.
Selection Process
You will receive automated emails from recruitment@sds.co.uk updating your status in the application process. Please ensure you check your emails regularly for updates and take any required action.
